Trading card game makers shut down
Sg-1 The makers of the Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis trading card games have ceased operations according to a report at ICv2 News. Genio Group, Inc. announced last year that it would release the first in a series of officially licensed Stargate trading card games this April. GateWorld has confirmed that its Stargate license has been cancelled.

Genio's board of directors shut down operations of the company in January. The actions come in the wake of the departure of the Susan Eisner, the company's president in November, Those actions took place after the company revealed that it had incorrectly reported its sales and that it was going to have a $900,000 sales hit from returns. The company's accounting firm also filed a letter with the SEC stating that the officers of the company had represented to the accountants that the sales were non-returnable
